Infiniment de L'Ou Rouge - 2018 (750ml)

Another 100% Syrah release, the 2018 Côtes Catalanes Infiniment De L'Ou comes from vines near the estate, just south of Pepignon. It's a beautiful, round, soft, supple wine with lots of mulled black cherry and currant fruits, velvety tannins, an expansive, layered mouthfeel, and classic Syrah bacon fat, chocolate, peppery herbs, and tapenade aromas and flavors. Up-front and ready to go, it should keep for 4-6 years.
