La Brande Castillon - 2019 (750ml)

This wine is made from estate-grown grapes which are farmed in a sustainable manner and are undergoing conversion to fully organic methods.  It is composed of 67% Merlot, 22% Cabernet Franc, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Petit Verdot from vines averaging 40 years old.  It is aged in roughly 2/3 oak barrels (10% new) and 1/3 stainless steel tank.

Exhibiting notions of cherries, blackberries and licorice, the 2019 La Brande is medium to full-bodied, with bright acidity, fine tannins, plenty of cherry aromas and a long, fresh, penetrating finish.
