The 2019 Michael Mara is the most unique and unconventional wine of this release. The extremely rocky site produces a vin clair that is both rich and ripe and simultaneously fresh and green. The color is a bright, light yellow, with an almost green hue. The nose is filled with mint, cucumber, green fig, sandalwood, and lemon, while the palate is rich and weighty, dominated by green apple but with an extremely long finish of gunflint, wet rocks and petrichor.
